I cannot say enough good things about this place and especially Bethany. My mother came in to see the root canal doctor, and Bethany took the absolute best care of her. My mom is in a nursing home and has some health issues, so she uses a walker and wheelchair. Bethany greeted her at the door with a wheelchair ready and made her feel so cared for and respected. My mom is embarrassed about needing the chair and wanted to try walking to the car, and we were having a little back-and-forth about it. Bethany handled it with so much kindness and grace—she told my mom, “It would help me out if I could push you. I sit at a desk all day and my steps get backed up,” which made my mom laugh and feel comfortable. She pushed her all the way down to the ramp and helped me get her in the car. That small moment meant the world to us. There truly aren’t many people like her. She also took the time to explain the costs and options if the root canal could be completed versus if it needed to be extracted, so we are fully prepared and informed for either route. We also got back to see Dr. Sisson and have heard great things about his work as well, which made us feel even more confident in his care. We are so grateful for Bethany and the entire team at Oak Ridge Smiles. Highly recommend! Will definitely be considering switching to them as our general dentist as well.
